Classroom

Look Again™ is supported in the Fashion Studies Curriculum through two courses . The fall semester explores working with recycled materials and surface technique while  producing the fall grouping of merchandise. In the spring semester  students  use their creative and technical skills to efficiently develop and produce garments that meet industry specifications, while preserving the Look Again™ one-of-a-kind  philosophy.

Because this is a unique opportunity for students to develop product which will be merchandised and sold at retail, schedules and projects may vary based  on materials, store needs, selling success, and the promotional needs for the Look Again TM line. This provides students with a realistic industry setting, with real demands and customers.

“It is my belief that this course will provide the student with the most realistic setting of an actual design room.  The product development process is about experimenting and problem solving as a team," said Laura Pirkl, Instructor
