Sportsmanship, hard work, and intensity are the cornerstones of Cazenovia Athletics. The College chooses to compete at the Division III level of the NCAA, and its teams are members of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC), the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA), Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA), USRowing and, through the NEAC, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).

Each year, more than 30% of our student-body competes in intercollegiate athletics.

  • Cazenovia College senior Christine Nichols (Syracuse, N.Y.) was named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Softball Player of the Year for the 2010 season.

    Nichols led the Wildcats and set Cazenovia single season records with a .490 average and 12 doubles and also finished with a team-leading 48 hits, .694 slugging percentage and .520 on-base percentage.

    She was tied for the team lead with 28 runs, recorded 19 RBI and had 17 multi-hit games.
