CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – The final seedings and tournament information for the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) men’s and women’s basketball championships were announced late Sunday evening, revealing the opponents for both Wildcats’ clubs.

The seventh-seeded women’s team will be hosting local NEAC member and No. 10 seed Morrisville State on Tue., Feb 23 at 7:00 p.m. at the Schneeweiss Athletic Complex. The winner of the game will go on to face SUNY Cobleskill on Friday in the quarterfinals.

The two teams played as recently as last Monday, where the Wildcats bested the Mustangs, 67-43, at Morrisville. When the teams squared off at Cazenovia on January 16, the Wildcats beat the Mustangs, 73-42, behind 24 points and 10 steals from Colleen Clarke (Johnson City, NY).

The men’s team is seeded tenth and will hit the road on Tue., Feb 23 to take on seventh-seeded Keuka College at 7:00 p.m. The winner of that contest will play Wells College on Friday in the quarterfinals.

The Wildcats had good results the last time they played the Storm at their place. On February 10, Cazenovia went on the road and beat the Storm, 80-76, with four players scoring in double figures. Cazenovia lost to Keuka at home, 81-70, in the other meeting between the two teams on January 20.
