Directions
From Route 20: Turn onto Rt. 92 (towards Syracuse) at the blinking light. Make the first left onto Woodfield Road. It is just past the golf course you begin to descend the hill. The Farm is located at the end of this road. (Please note that we request all visitors to travel under 15 MPH on Woodfield Road.)
From Syracuse: Use Exit 3E from Rt. 481 South. This will put you onto Rt. 92 toward Manlius and Cazenovia. Follow Rt. 92 through Manlius and continue toward Cazenovia. After you leave Manlius you will drive through Oran. You will pass a golf driving range on the right as you depart Oran. (Check your odometer - Woodfield Road is 3 miles from the driving range). You will then ascend two hills and as you get about 2/3 way up the third hill you will see a blue sign for Thornfield Conference Center. At that intersection turn right. That will be Woodfield Road. The Cazenovia College Equine Center is at the end of Woodfield Road. (Note that the Thornfield Conference Center is a left turn onto West Lake Road, but you do not go that way.) (Please note that we request all visitors to travel under 15 MPH on Woodfield Road.) If you go too far you will come to the end of Rt. 92. Turn around and make the first left turn onto Woodfield Road.
The barn phone number is 315-655-8159 if you require additional assistance.
About the Equine Education Center
Cazenovia College boasts one of the most modern and well-equipped facilities of its kind at the Equine Education Center (EEC), a laboratory for the Equine Business Management academic program as well as home site of the College riding teams that have produced several national champions over the years. Located on 243 acres of College-owned property a few miles from the main campus, the EEC has 70 stalls and three riding rings, including an indoor arena (100' x 300') that has hosted the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Championships twice since 1999. The facility also includes classroom space, student lockers, a student lounge and an enclosed second floor viewing area that overlooks the indoor arena. A limited number of stalls are available to students for their horses.
