Paula Stec Fenger '75, of New Hope, P.A., joined the board in 2006.
Fenger was a kindergarten teacher in the Orchard Park, N.Y., Central Schools; an assistant director for The Manor Discovery Center day care in Easton, Md.; and an admissions representative for the Northeastern Technical Academy, a proprietary trade school.
She was a child life volunteer for Buffalo’s Children’s Hospital; a member of the board of directors for St. Mark’s Nursery School in Easton, Md.; a coordinator and presenter for “Art in the Schools” in Middleton, Wis.; communications coordinator for the Lake Highland Preparatory School Bands in Orlando, Fla.; a religious education teacher and a Cub Scout leader. She has also served on the governing board of The Garden Theatre in Winter Garden, Fla.
After earning her associate’s degree at Cazenovia College, Fenger received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood development and education from Syracuse University.
At Cazenovia, Fenger was part of the 1974 “Save the College” effort, a student-led fundraising campaign to keep the financially struggling College open, and was a volunteer recruiter. She and her family have lived in many regions of the United States.
