Bill Locke, CFA Charterholder, is the President and CEO of Adirondack Financial Services Corp. Bill has over 20 years of experience in trust management and investment counseling. He earned his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1993 and has proven expertise as an investment manager for individuals, corporations, and not-for profits.
In addition to his efforts on behalf of his clients, Bill is deeply committed to his community, serving on the boards of a number of regional charities and institutions. For nearly 25 years, Bill Locke has advised not-for-profit corporations in upstate New York and answered their questions about investment management. Bill’s comprehensive technical assistance includes expertise in creating investment policy statements and developing attainable and prudent investment expectations. Bill’s capable guidance has helped countless nonprofit organizations to implement sustainable spending policies that position an organization to meet its operating expenses while preserving assets for the future.
Bill’s expertise encompasses an additional, unique personal and professional interest: evaluating, enhancing and encouraging nonprofit capacity and growth by harnessing the synergy that occurs among experienced fund development, professional staff, and knowledgeable volunteers.
Bill earned his bachelor of arts degree from Bates College. Additionally, he earned his masters of business administration from Babson Graduate School of Business.
