Behind the players and the games, there are infrastructures in place to ensure the games continue. As in all businesses, managers, accountants, marketing and advertising managers, sales people and operations managers are needed to organize and operate sports organizations. Depending on the individual student’s area of interest, sport management majors can concentrate on various business functions through course work and through internships.
