Online Coursework

Cazenovia College offers a small number of classes in an online format. These classes are designed for students who wish to take Cazenovia classes, but for a variety of reasons choose online learning. Search course offerings to see what classes are available.

Online Coursework: Concerns, Issues and Grievance Procedures
When online students have a concern or a question, their first step should be to communicate with the instructor. If that does not remedy the situation, a student should contact the Office of Extended Learning. Issues can often be addressed and remedied with just a phone call or an email.

If the student’s concerns are not answered through either of these means, then the student should contact the State approval or licensing entity in the student’s state of residency. If a student is outside the boundaries of New York while taking an online class, the State agency to contact would be the state in which the student is physically located while taking the on-line course.

A listing of state contact information and resources is available through the State Higher Education Executive Officers (SHEEO) website. Students may also download a pdf document of the SHEEO list Student Complaint Information by State and Agency. This information will be updated, if it changes.
