Eric Boyer holds a Ph.D. in English from Syracuse University and joined the Cazenovia faculty in 1986. He has taught at Ball State University, Syracuse University, the University of Wyoming, and the State University of New York at Oswego. At Cazenovia, he teaches humanities courses and directs the B.A. and B.S. programs in English. His teaching and research interests include twentieth century literature and theory, critical thinking, and popular culture--especially film and television.
