Head Coach: Ryan Spillett
Ryan Spillett joined the Cazenovia College coaching staff, as the head coach of the men’s Lacrosse team in the Fall of 2006. Also serving as the Director of Student-Athlete Services, Spillett will play a duel role in the department as both coach and administrator.
Spillett, like his predecessor, Coach Rob Kenna, is a product of the legendary West Genesee High School lacrosse program. Graduating in 1999, after playing a solid career with the West Genesee Wildcats, Spillett attended Le Moyne College. Spillett, a 4-year starter with Le Moyne, currently holds numerous statistical records with the NCAA DII Dolphins. Spillett remains the Le Moyne all-time career assists leader (144) and is third in career points scored (220). Spillett also received numerous awards and recognition with Le Moyne as he was an Honorable Mention United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) honorable mention All-America in 2001 and 2002, the NE-10 Tournament MVP in 2003 and the Le Moyne 2003 Male Senior Athlete of the Year.
Taking his first head-coaching job with Cazenovia, Spillett served as the head assistant coach with SUNY Potsdam from 2003-2006. An experienced recruiter, Spillett has also worked a variety of summer lacrosse camps.
Spillett currently resides in the Village of Manlius, N.Y.
