Undergraduate education at focuses on curricular and co-curricular experiences as the institution prepares students to live out the mission of the College as educated, involved and productive citizens. The Co- and Extra-Curricular Transcript is a document of out-of-class activities that encourages students to reflect upon the general education skills and values they learn through out-of-class involvement.
The Co- and Extra-Curricular Transcript is divided into four (4)broad categories so students can see where they may need more skill development or experience. The four categories are: Campus Involvement; Community Involvement; Professional/Educational Development; Honors, Awards, Recognition.
The Co- and Extra-Curricular Transcript database identifies and tracks skill development within these broad categories linked directly to the ten (10) institutional core competencies used in assessing student learning in the classroom: Written Communication; Spoken Communication; Leadership and Interpersonal Communications; Visual Literacy; Cultural Literacy; Scientific, Technical and Computer Literacy; Ethics; Diversity and Social Consciousness; Quantitative Skills; Critical Thinking and Problem Solving.
