Join Us in the Annual Chittenango Creek Clean-Up

College clubs invite campus and Caz community to participate in Sat., April 12 clean-up
On April 12, 2014, the Annual Chittenango Creek Clean-Up will start at 10 a.m., at the Buyea’s Hardware parking lot and end around noon. Bags for trash and donuts from Tops will be provided, and some gloves will be available to borrow. Wear older clothes and boots. Helpers of all ages are welcome, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is being sponsored by the Cazenovia Preservation Foundation, Trout Unlimited, and several of Cazenovia College’s student organizations, including the Environmental Club, Alpha Lambda Delta First Year Honor Society, Outdoor Adventure Club, and Visual Rebellion Club.
The Clean-Up, with the help of many college students and community members, usually results in about two pick-up trucks worth of trash being removed from the creek and its surrounding banks. We would love to have your help!
