Co-curricular & Leadership Development Programs are dedicated to supporting the mission of Cazenovia College by providing services and programs to maximize students’ co-curricular educational opportunities. Finding time to become actively involved in campus life is an important step toward making the most of the college experience and is an important tool for a successful future.
We strive to create an environment where all students have the opportunity to participate in events and activities that enhance their classroom experiences and allow them to accumulate knowledge, skills and values in settings beyond the classroom.
Professional staff plays an active role in developing a campus culture that accentuates student learning and success; where there is an integral relationship between academic affairs and student affairs.
Through involvement, students can gain valuable leadership skills, create and build campus traditions, and learn to live and work in the larger campus community. We believe learning is a process that happens outside, as well as inside, the classroom. The Co-Curricular & Leadership Development Programs office publishes a weekly campus calendar of events, found in the student newspaper The Quad. In addition, the Co-curricular Transcript Program tracks student co-curricular development/activity in student organizations, college committees, internships, as well as honors and awards.
Co-Curricular and Leadership Development Programs currently operates under six (6) strategic areas designed to accomplish the departmental mission and vision, while supporting the overall institutional mission to embrace learning as its primary focus and to commit to creating an environment that encourages intellectual, social and ethical growth.
