Mental Health Counselor Licensure by State - LMHC

Federal regulations require Cazenovia College to disclose whether its programs meet the educational requirements for professional licensure in every state and U.S. territory.

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling MS program meets the requirements for licensure in the states indicated below. We have also identified states in which the program does not meet the academic program licensure requirements and those states that are undetermined. The majority of these states do it by endorsement. Because our program requires 60 credits and we take the National exam, the majority of these states will recognize our 60 credit Master’s program for licensure.
