Our Human Services program leads to a Bachelor of Science degree. As a student in our program, you have access to many opportunities for assisting children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings such as alcohol and substance abuse, mental health services, foster care, social services, disabilities, elder and health care.
To reflect the diverse nature of the field of human services, our program offers a choice of four concentrations so you can design your academic experience to fit your career goals.
The Counseling and Mental Health concentration of the Human Services program provides students with a broad overview of counseling services within the mental health system. Leading to a Bachelor of Science degree, the program's curriculum addresses issues related to current mental health practice, providing you with a base of knowledge about the systems and services for children, adolescents and adults.
