Art and Design Open House
Monday, February 15th at 6:30 pm
The art and design programs at Cazenovia College, woven into a liberal arts environment, provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their chosen art and design fields. In a challenging yet supportive environment, expert faculty provide students with personalized, hands-on instruction. Courses focus on creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills while fostering interdisciplinary study. Experiential learning, mentorships and internships prepare students for dynamic and creative professional careers.
Business & Management Open House
Tuesday, February 16th at 6:30 pm
The Division of Business and Management offers Bachelor of Science (BS) and Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) degrees in Business or Business Management, and Finance. Concentrations and specializations offered as a part of the BPS degree are Accounting, Business Management, Equine Business Management, Fashion Merchandising, Finance, Hospitality and Sport Management. The BS and BPS in Business and Finance are also available as 3-year accelerated programs.
Students in these programs learn modern management philosophies and benefit from hands-on business projects and internships. This direct exposure to business methods and techniques affords them the opportunity to put into practice what is learned in the classroom and gain valuable career experience before entering the job market.
Humanities & Natural Sciences Open House
Wednesday, February 17th at 6:30 pm
Programs in the Division of Humanities and Natural Sciences cover a broad range of disciplines and degree programs in Biology, Environmental Biology, Communication Studies (Journalism and Electronic Media), English and Liberal Studies.
Students complete field placements and/or internships, which provide meaningful learning opportunities. Experiences are tailored for students that match skill sets with available programs and co-curricular offerings. This approach is what sets Cazenovia College apart from others.
Social & Behavioral Sciences Open House
Thursday, February 18th at 6:30 pm
Students enrolled in the Criminal Justice and Homeland Security Studies, Education, History, Human Services, International Studies, Psychology, and Social Sciences programs graduate with a strong liberal arts education and professional experience in their chosen fields, and possess the knowledge required for entering a graduate program or starting a career.
Critical thinking, service to others, communicating effectively and acting in an ethical manner are guiding principles of programs in this division. Potential career paths include social work, law, corrections, counseling, teaching, government and other related fields.
Fashion Programs Open House
Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:30 pm
The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design prepares students for success in the fashion industry by developing technical and creative skills needed for students to cultivate fashion concepts, create patterns and construct garments, use current construction and digital technology to present their own fashion lines.
The Bachelor of Professional Studies in Fashion Merchandising program emphasizes the business functions of promoting and selling fashions in the retail sector and coordinating the design, production and retail processes in the manufacturing sector of the fashion industry. This specialization combines fashion studies, and business/career studies to prepare graduates for entry-level employment in fashion merchandising.
Student Life Open House

Getting involved equals student success. Students who are actively involved outside of the classroom gain the most from their college experience. The Division of Student Affairs provides meaningful experiences to help students become engaged in the campus community. All
initiatives in the Division support and complement the primary learning mission of the College, while encouraging campus pride and spirit. Programs, activities and services provided by the division are designed to address learning and growth that complements the in-class experiences and to allow students opportunities to tailor a campus experience that makes them excited to be a part of this vibrant community.
Equine Open House
Thursday, February 25th at 7 pm
The Equine Business Management program of the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Management is designed for students interested in the organizational, managerial, and commercial aspects of the equine industry, as well as students interested in advanced performance horse care, equine reproduction, instruction and stable management.
The combination of business management courses with equine science and equine business courses provides students with the skills necessary to pursue either a hands-on or support sector position in the equine industry, pursue a career in business or to pursue an advanced degree.
A tradition of equestrian excellence, Cazenovia College is home to one of the premier equine centers in the northeast. Built in 1999, the 240 acre center is home to the College’s nationally ranked Intercollegiate Equestrian Team and also serves as the “laboratory” for our nationally recognized Equine Business Management specialization.
Sophomore/Junior Discovery Day 2021
Date for 2021 will be announced in March.
Sophomore/Junior Discovery Day is designed for high school sophomores and juniors beginning their college search. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet with admissions, current students, staff, and faculty who will share experiences and perspectives on the opportunities Cazenovia College offers that lead to success!
