Cazenovia College offers a number of orientation opportunities for new students to gather information that will enhance their college experience. Orientations are held each year in the summer, fall and winter.

Summer Orientation

It is clear that summer orientation matters, and after a year of limited opportunities to connect at home, we want to assure you that Cazenovia is ready to celebrate the opportunities for you to meet classmates and learn together with a day full helpful information-sharing and activities.

Whether meeting with academic advisors or getting to know your new classmates; finalizing student information with our health, enrollment, and housing offices or learning more about what to bring (or not) to your residence hall room; or getting unique access to our Village businesses, getting your Cazenovia student ID, OR even finding your future roommate, our team of campus faculty, staff, and all our orienteers are ready!

We promise to provide you with the information and guidance that is necessary at this pivotal transition point between high school and college. Choose between July 9 and July 24 for summer orientation.

Registration is Required

Fall Orientation

Your days will be filled with opportunities to meet new people, learn about life at Cazenovia College and explore all that the College has to offer. The Orientation Program is designed to make the transition to Cazenovia as seamless as possible. Over 75 upper-class students comprise the Orientation Staff. Their goal is to create a phenomenal experience that introduces you to Cazenovia, helps you develop new relationships and gets you settled into your new home.

New Student Orientation

Held in July, New Student Orientation is designed to give you a successful start at Cazenovia College by familiarizing you with members of our campus community, including professors, counselors, your future fellow students and more!  Our goal is to address your questions and concerns, as well as connect you and parents to the campus resources that will help make the most of your college experience.
