The 44th Annual Cazenovia College Fashion Show hosted a model call this past Wednesday at 3:30pm in Coleman A and B. Students attended this call in order to audition to be a model in the underclassmen garment portion of the fashion show. The students were encouraged to wear form fitting clothing and three inch heels.

The Model and Merchandising team was there to oversee the call and will be looking at a video recording to choose who will be in the show. There was also a jury panel present to help select the models. The panel included: fashion merchandising alumna Mara Halstead '15 and Stephanie Cameron, owner of CNY MODE a model management company in Syracuse.

There was a total of 31 models who auditioned and usually the team accepts around 30-40. This is less models than there are garments, which means each model will wear two to three garments in the show. Another model call will be held on Monday, March 13, for those students that could not make the first call.

Once the models are accepted there will be model practices starting Monday, March 20. These practices make sure that the timing on the runway is smooth and that the models walk and demeanor is consistent.
