With the 44th Annual Fashion Show coming up in April the Fashion Show production class is hard at work to make sure this year's show goes smoothly and is a success. An abundance of planning goes into the show each year and this year is no exception. Planning for the show actually started two years ago, when students in the fashion show production class selected the theme Modern Masquerade.

"It's the fantasy and allure of a romantic possibility," said Lee Beals, fashion management visiting instructor and one of the faculty members teaching this years' Fashion Show Production class.

This show's theme is unique in the fact that it doesn't split the underclassmen garments into sections. Rather the garments will be placed in a specific order that the Model and Merchandising team will choose. The theme will be accentuated by masks and a stage presence that transports the audience into a masquerade.

Choosing the theme for the show has been occurring two years in advance for some time now which gives all involved in planning enough time to promote the show. This year the logo and much of the promotional materials for the show were designed by senior Visual Communications major Jaleel Campbell.
