Can I change my meal plan?
Yes. Please complete the Meal Plan Form to change your meal plan.
What if I have a schedule conflict?
Arrangements can be made with Dining Services for a boxed lunch. Contact Dining Services along with a copy of your schedule to make arrangements.
Who is eligible to participate?
All Students.
Where can I use it? On campus only:
Dining Hall and Late Night Operations in the Dining Hall and The Hub.
How do I activate an account?
Automatic upon selection of meal plan and receipt of payment.
Can I add money to my account balance?
No, but you can change plans during add/drop period each semester.
Do meal plan balances carry over (semester to semester; year to year)?
Meals do not roll over from week to week, nor semester to semester, nor year to year.
Can I get a refund of any unused balances?
Unused meals are nontransferable and non-refundable at the end of each semester.
What are Dining Dollars?
Dining Dollars are part of your meal plan package.

Late Nite Operations in the Dining Hall, The Hub, and Les Pâtes et Les Nouilles restaurant on Albany Street.
How do I activate an account?
Dining Dollars are automatically added to each student’s CazCard with a selected meal plan.
Can I add money to my Dining Dollars?
No.
Do Dining Dollars carry over (semester to semester; year to year)?
No, Dining Dollars do not carry over from semester to semester, nor year to year.
Can I get a refund of any unused balances?
No.
What is CazCash?
CazCash is money you deposit on your CazCard. (Optional) You must sign up and add money to your CazCard to transform your CazCard into a debit card. Visit CazCash for complete details.

How do I activate an account?
Visit www.cazenovia.edu/cazcash to activate an account and add CazCash.
Can I add money to my account balance?
Yes. Visit www.cazenovia.edu/cazcash to add additional funds.
Do CazCash balances carry over (semester to semester; year to year)?
Yes, CazCash balances do carry over each semester until separation from the college.
Can I get a refund of any unused balances?
Yes, you can request a refund at the end of the spring semester or upon separation from the College.
Are there any restrictions on what I can buy with CazCash?
CazCash may not be used to purchase alcohol and/or tobacco products, per your signed contractual agreement.
Can students and employees use their CazCards for cash withdrawals or as an ATM card?
No, you cannot use your CazCard to make withdrawals
What happens if I lose my ID Card?
If your ID card is lost or stolen, follow these steps immediately:
- Check with Campus Security to see if your card has been turned in. Stop by their office located in Hubbard Hall or call them at 315-655-7271.
- If Campus Security does not have it, stop by Campus Services office located at 7 Nickerson Street to get a new ID.
- There is a $25 charge to replace your card.
What is the difference between Dining Dollars and CazCash?
Dining Dollars is part of your meal plan package you purchased for the semester. CazCash is cash you deposit on your card.
Where do I get my CazCard?
New students get their ID card and key to their room from Residence Life the day they move in. Employees get their ID card as part of their employee orientation.
Can I loan my CazCard?
No. When you sign up for a meal plan, you are entering a contractual agreement with the college in return for tax-exempt status. Loaning your card to someone else is a direct violation of that agreement. Also, your CazCard protects you from identity theft and therefore protects your meal plans and funds on your account.
What if I forget my CazCard?
You need to present your CazCard when entering the Dining Hall or making purchases at any of on-campus or off-campus locations. If you do not have your card, you will not be allowed to enter the dining hall or make your purchases.
