October 6, 2021 - 10:10am | Room 305 Biology Lab, Eckel Hall

Scott Prindle, NYSDEC Region 7 Fisheries Biologist, will join SM 101/498 Life on the Lake to discuss the functions, responsibilities, and research and management tools used by fisheries biologists within the NYS Department of Conservation’s Division of Fish and Wildlife. He will also share with us qualifications and strategies for landing a fisheries job and, more broadly, how to prepare for any number of careers within the NYSDEC. Following the presentation, Scott will be joining us for an early lunch in the Dining Hall.

All are welcome to attend in-person, but the guest lecture and Q&A will also be livestreamed on YouTube (link to come.)
