Join us for a demonstration of fish survey procedures where the North Country Trail crosses Canastota Creek, led by students in the Environmental Biology Program at Cazenovia College. We will find out what fish species inhabit the creek using nets and a backpack electrofisher (all fish will be released unharmed).
Hiking distance: Less than ½ mile each way.

Meet at parking area on Oxbow Rd., 0.8 mile south of Rt 5 in Canastota
FREE and open to all ages. Simply dress for the weather. Rubber boots preferable.
