For the nineteenth consecutive year, Cazenovia College has been ranked among the top undergraduate regional colleges by U.S. News & World Report. According to the latest rankings released on September 12, 2022, Cazenovia is ranked at #11 for “Best Colleges,” #2 in terms of student social mobility, and the #2 "Best Value" college in the north region, an eleven-state area consisting of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the New England states.
The Best College recognition is based on several factors including average graduation and freshman retention rates, class sizes, student/faculty ratio, alumni giving, and peer institution assessment. The Best Value ranking looks at the College’s overall ranking plus the amount of financial support made available to students with need. The College’s #2 ranking as a “Top Performer on Social Mobility” is a measure of how well Cazenovia graduates economically disadvantaged students.
“Our continued high rankings by U.S. News reflect our faculty and staff's ongoing commitment to student success," said President David Bergh, Ed.D. "Students who come here can rest assured that they receive a high-quality education and have a great college experience while obtaining the academic preparation and success from which to launch lifelong career opportunities.”
Cazenovia College was also once again ranked as a "Best Colleges in America" by Money, and a “Top Bachelor’s Colleges" by Washington Monthly.
