College also Earns 17th Consecutive "Best College" ranking
For the seventeenth consecutive year, Cazenovia College has been ranked among the top undergraduate regional colleges by U.S. News & World Report. According to the 2021 rankings released on September 14, 2020, Cazenovia is ranked the #2 "Best Value" college in the north region, an eleven-state area consisting of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the New England states.

Cazenovia College also moved up four spots to #12 in the U. S. News "Best College" ranking of the top regional colleges in the north. This recognition is based on a number of factors including average graduation and freshman retention rates, class sizes, student/faculty ratio, alumni giving, and peer institution assessment. The College is also ranked #7 as a “Top Performer on Social Mobility” in the North, which measures how well schools graduate economically disadvantaged students.
"To once again be recognized by U.S. News as one of the top regional colleges in the north is a reflection of our faculty and staff's commitment to student success," said President Ron Chesbrough, Ph.D. "During these challenging times, it serves as validation that our students receive an outstanding academic experience at an affordable cost."
Cazenovia College was also once again ranked as a "Best College for Your Money" by Money, and a "Best Bang for the Buck" among northeast colleges by Washington Monthly, as well as one of their top "Top Bachelor’s Colleges" nationally.
