Class of 2020
“Cazenovia College has given me a lot of opportunities to grow and prosper in areas that I never thought were possible.”
Why Cazenovia College?
I didn’t select Cazenovia College; it selected me! Basketball Coach Justin Stern happened to be at another college’s tryouts and suggested I give Cazenovia a look. Shortly after that first meeting with Coach Stern, I came to Cazenovia’s campus and I was sold. The campus was beautiful, and it felt like the right place for me.

Successful Sports Internships
I am already putting my business and marketing knowledge to work. This past summer, I interned with the Buffalo Bills where I worked on increasing ticket sales. It was a great experience working at their training camp. Not only did I learn a lot, but I also made a lot of friends.

With Syracuse University Athletics, I interned as part of ‘Cuse Crew where I was responsible for setting up the contests during games and giving out prizes.  I was named an All-Star for my work with ‘Cuse Crew which led me to my current internship promoting ticket sales for SU. I am grateful to my professors who have helped me make the connections I needed to interview for these internships. I feel that Cazenovia has prepared me well for interviewing and handling the business situations I am experiencing.

Ambassador for the NRF 2020 Vision
For the second year, I am Cazenovia College’s Ambassador for the National Retail Federation (NRF) 2020 Vision show held at the Javits Center in New York City. My goal is to grow the chapter by educating the College on the benefits of the NRF, including scholarships, jobs and internships. While the NRF name implies retail, it is so much more. Executives from all types of businesses attend the event so it is a great opportunity to network. As Ambassador, I help students navigate and prepare for the event.

Wildcats Basketball
My basketball teammates are like my brothers. We have been through a lot together. My freshman year was a challenging season that began with a losing streak. We learned to work together and ended the year going to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Final Four.

Basketball pushes me to be a leader and work even harder so I can show others how to balance courses, sports and other activities. For me, it’s all about planning and writing things down. Keeping a schedule helps me with time management.
